event is not only a celebration of this wonderful season but of the colorful display carpeting the forest floor: Wildflowers. Woodland wildflowers provide us a short glimpse of hope for warmer weather yet to come. March and April are the perfect time to see these amazing beauties in bloom. Warm temperatures, gentle rainfalls and the absence of the shady tree canopy allow the sun to shine directly on the forest floor, before the leaf buds of our maple, beech and oak trees open and create a tent of shadows over the rills and hills of the woods.
Visit the Cincinnati Parks this Spring to enjoy the wildflowers and spend part of your day on April 23 celebrating them with us!
